Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actor, actress, and film actor. She was born on January 31st, 1937 to January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and was a part of films towards the end of the 1950s. She later appeared in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). Later, she appeared on various television productions, and was frequently a guest actor. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, from 1972 until 1978 in which she earned several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January of 1937. The parents of her were Jewish, the children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was a dancer and artist who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager at both the Paramount Theater and the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
