Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a musician and. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There together with three students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. While he's always attracted to music, he also hoping to be an attorney or physical therapist. He worked for a time as a part-time baker in his city to help financially at home. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This allowed them to become the frontrunners to win the competition. They were in third spot after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who took home the prize. Even though Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
