Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentinan of Scottish and English descendant is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' previous marriages. They was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and she did not take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. When she was 16, she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as an experienced model.
